Welcome to the Bagad Ker Vourdel's web site. The bagad was created
in Bordeaux in 1997 by some motivated pipers and talabarders
(bombarde players). This is the only page in English, we are
sorry ! But with the help of some online translators, you
will be able to get some information about us. We have an
interesting History area concerning
our background and about l'Armor,
an organization created in 1898 to help breton migrants (mostly
sailors, fishermen and farmers) to settle in Gironde. Some
documents go back to 1948.
The group is 28 people strong, ready to play
on any occasion like games, concerts,
and festoù-noz (Breton ceiligh) in Aquitaine, Brittany
and anywhere else. We have more than 20 shows a year.

our music school, some tunes
and lots of pictures.You can
also have the opportunity to listen to
us, during a tune-up several days before the Breton championships
in Carhaix in July 2001. It's quite old but it is better than nothing...
